June FNSI

I don’t have too much time to make a whole blog post today, (husband wants to go on a motorcycle journey today….all day) but I will show you what I worked on last night. This month's FNSI was hosted by Wendy:http://www.sugarlanequilts.blogspot.com.au/
This is what I am working on from Gyleen Fitgerald’s Summer Camp I: www.colourfulstitches.com

I finished sewing the top together. The next class will be on making a pieced backing.
This was very difficult for me as I am a very visual person and could not ‘see’ the finish product. (Are those flippers trying to tell me something about mystery quilts by trying to run away from this project?!?) I am making 2…what was I thinking…(only had time last night to finish the one) and am making Quillows out of them as gifts for my sons.
I will be posting a ‘whole’ post Sunday sometime so please stop back.
Thanx for visiting, D.G. L

You had a productive FNSI.. getting that quilt top finished. I'm a visual person like you... I like to 'see' what I'm making before I start. Kudos to you for tackling a mystery project. Have fun....xx
